On Saturday 2nd November, the Town Task Force attended a Remembrance Day Service in the newly refurbished Town Hall organised by Anne Tattersall to display the poppies made by various community groups within the town.
The Town Hall looked amazing covered in knitted and paper poppies hanging from beams and filling the space with colour. Our very own Town Task Force made over a hundred paper poppies which were stuck to larger wooden poppies to create a striking effect. They represented the school to present their display and even got to chat to the new mayor Keeley Allin.
