On Wednesday 25th September, pupils in Year 2 went to St
Michael’s and all Angels Church for the Harvest
Experience.
They had great fun learning about where food comes from and why
it is so important for us to celebrate and be thankful for the Harvest. They
also found out about the importance of helping others. Father Peter explained
how Harvest is celebrated by the Jewish faith and they all enjoyed singing some
favourite harvest hymns.
We would like to thank RHS Garden Rosemoor for their kind donations of home
grown food for the event. This food will be brought to Bluecoat School for our
harvest celebration and then be distributed within the Torrington community.
