One of the highlights of the Christmas season is our Christingle Service held in St Michael’s Church.
It is a lovely opportunity to remember the true meaning of Christmas with a visual Nativity Scene,
performed by year 1, a lively selection of festive songs sung by years 1-3 and the moment everyone
looks forward to, when a very ‘angelic’ year 1 light their Christingles and carefully spread their light
around the church.
This year proceeds from the collection from this service and the Carol Service for Years 4-6 will go to the Children’s Society, who provide the candles and other resources for the event free of charge
each year. Thank you to all who contributed and to the many parents and friends who attended.
