Report by Captain - Poppy C
On Monday 14th November, members of the Bluecoat Netball club participated in their second league match this year. They played Monkleigh Primary School at Langtree on their MUGA.
Bluecoat got off to an excellent start scoring two goals and then Monkleigh scored making it 2:1. It was a competitive match and both sides were strong and both having many goal opportunities. In the last quarter near the end of the six minutes, Monkleigh scored again making it a draw and again in the last minute making it 3:2 to Monkleigh.
Bluecoat Player of the Match was Indi for her constant determination and focus during the match. For this match Poppy C was Captain and the rest of the team were: Emily B, Naomi B, Emma W, Tilly C and Indi L. Unfortunately Harry K and Megan S were unable to make the match.
The next match will be on the 21st against St Helen's Primary School from Abbotsham.

On Monday 28th November, members of the Bluecoat Netball club participated in our third league match this year. We played Langtree Primary School on their MUGA.
Langtree got off to an excellent start, scoring two goals in the first quarter. Bluecoat held their own and were strong on defense for the rest of the match. Neither team scored any more goals so the final score was 2:0 to Langtree. It was a competitive match and we were further challenged by rain and wind but luckily played the first match before the rain really came down hard for the second match that Bradworthy and Monkleigh played which had to be stopped after the second quarter!
Bluecoat Player of the Match was Naomi B who was also the Captain. The rest of the team was Emily B, Emma W, Indi L, Poppy C, Nancy B and Paige D. Unfortunately Megan S and Tilly C were unable to make the match.
The next and final league match will be on the 5th December against St Helen's Primary School from Abbotsham which was postponed last week.
