On Friday 10th November, ahead of a weekend of Remembrance, Bluecoat came together to remember the fallen at the Remembrance Service. Children displayed handmade poppies and laid handmade wreaths at the cross as a mark of respect for those that served their country and gave their lives in war. The children were all very respectful during the silence to remember the fallen.
On Sunday 12th November, Pupil Councillors attended the Remembrance Sunday Service at the war memorial in Torrington where they laid a wreath on behalf of the school. Thank you to parents, carers and staff for supporting this important occasion.
