Match Report - 4th November 2019
Teams: Great Torrington Bluecoat vs St. Helens (Abbotsham)
Team Captain: Raven
On the 4th November, Bluecoat Netball Team played a match against St. Helens. Both teams played really well but overall the score was 25:0 to us. In the first quarter James and Calypso did very well and started us off with 6 goals! Also Jess and Tilly did a very good job defending. In the second quarter, me (Raven) and Ella both scored goals, me 2 and Ella 1. In the 3rd quarter Tilly and Ophelia did a very good job of scoring 8 goals. Finally in the 4th quarter, Jess and Macy scored 8! So we all did an excellent job of scoring many goals! The umpire announced Jess as ‘Player of the match!’.

Match Report - 11th November 2019
Teams: Great Torrington Bluecoat vs Shebbear
Team Captain: Ophelia
On Monday 11th November, Bluecoat Netball Team played a match against Shebbear in the hall at GTS. The final score was 11-2 to us. We played very well and in the final quarter Matilda and Jess did well to score 5 of the goals between them! Macy was Centre and she started with some quick centre passes. Shebbear were a strong side and also had lots of goal attempts. The umpire announced James as ‘Player of the match!’.

Match Report - 18th November 2019
Teams: Great Torrington Bluecoat vs LangtreeTeam Captain: Jess
On Monday the 18th November 2019, Bluecoat Netball Team played a match against Langtree in the GTS sports hall. Both teams played very well, the overall score was 6-4 to Langtree. In the first quarter Langtree scored 2 goals and in the second quarter Bluecoat scored 2 goals by Calypso and Jess, Langtree also scored 3 more goals in the third quarter and another in the fourth quarter. Bluecoat scored their third and fourth goal in the last quarter by Raven and Tilly. At the end of the match the umpire announced that Calypso ws the ‘Player of the match!’. Langtree were a really strong team however we also played strong and really challenged them!

Match Report - 25th November 2019
Teams: Great Torrington Bluecoat vs Monkleigh
Team Captain: James
On Monday the 25th November 2019, Bluecoat Netball Team played a netball match against Monkleigh in the GTS sports hall. It was a really good match where both teams played really well, but it was challenging and very balanced. The first quarter went very well for Bluecoat with Jess scoring 3 goals and in the third quarter Matilda scored too. We conceded 2 goals in the third quarter and another 2 goals in the fourth quarter too. It was then 4 all. Calypso and Raven in the fourth quarter managed to score a fifth goal, making a lead and final score of 5-4 to us! It was a great game and very close! At the end of the match the umpire announced that Jess was the ‘Player of the match!’.
