During the 2019 Appledore Book Festival, Year 6 were really fortunate to have a visit from author, Patrice Lawrence. Patrice, who comes from London, was so inspiring for the children particularly by sharing her views that anyone can write! She talked about her book ‘Granny Ting Ting’ and how she got her inspiration to write it based on her family connections with Trinidad.
