Netball Tournament Report - February 2022
On the 17th February 2022, the Bluecoat Netball Club took 10 players to GTS to take part in a tournament. They played 4 matches, each 12 minutes long, playing two x 6 minute halves.
(POPPY) The first match was against Bradworthy who won, they played well and were strong by passing quickly. I was the captain.
(EMILY) The second match was against Langtree first team who won, they passed the ball quickly and were very assertive. I was the captain.
(RUBY) The third match was against Monkleigh, which we drew. We scored first in the first half followed by Monkleigh scoring their first. In the second half both teams scored again making it 2:2. I was the captain.
(BETSY) The last match was against Langtree second team. We won and played a strong game scoring several times. I was the captain.
Langtree first team won the tournament and we came third out of five overall in the tournament. Langtree first team also won the League last term.
