On Thursday 10th March 2022, the Bluecoat Netball Club took 8 players (unfortunately Betsy was poorly as it should have been 9) to the netball tournament. It was the North Devon Finals and was held at Park School in Barnstaple. There were 2 groups each with 7 schools. Bluecoat were in group 1 and played 6 matches, each 12 minutes long, playing two x 6 minute halves. At the end the first and second place teams from both groups went through to a play-off.
The first match was against Bishop Tawton who won, they played very well but we did score once.
The second match was against Bradworthy who won 2:0.
The third match was against Hartland, Bluecoat did really well, and won 6:1.
The fourth match was against South Molton, it was close but they won 3:2.
Bluecoat's fifth match was against Woolacombe who were very strong and they won.
The final match was lost against Caen.
The tournament final was won by Caen school and Bluecoat came tenth out of thirteen.
