This year World Maths Day took place on 23rd March 2022 and it has been described by Mathletics as the “largest online maths competition in the world!”
On this day, pupils in chapters 2 and 3 were able to compete in Live Mathletics challenges with children from across the world. Year 5 were busy exploring We, the Curious in Bristol on that day, so weren’t able to take part this time - they’ll be ready next year!
Out of the thousands of schools across the world who took part:
Year 2 were 952nd
Year 3 were 382nd
Year 4 were 800th
Year 6 were 645th
We are already looking forward to next year!
