Year 5 are a Force to be Reckoned With!

At the start of their Science work about different forces, Y5 took to the playgrounds to explore air resistance, using various everyday items (and a parachute!) to help them think about what it actually was.  They had time to use their Building Learning Powers, thinking about what they already knew, making links and working well as reciprocal learners.  

By the end of their exploration, they had decided that the surface area of an object can have a huge effect on its air resistance and will now be able to apply that understanding in future lessons!
