On 23rd March 2023, the children in Year 5 visited Aerospace in Bristol, an opportunity to consolidate our learning about the history of flight and space travel.
They went on a journey through time, looking at successful and failed attempts to fly, and were very excited to be able to step inside a concorde! They also took part in a “Blast Off Rocket Workshop,” where they found out about some famous pilots and astronauts, and had a go at making their own rockets and seeing how far they travelled.
Thank you very much to parents and carers who helped on the trip; everyone had an enjoyable and interesting day!
