Bluecoat 'Make a Noise' About Anti-Bullying

On Monday 13th November, Bluecoat launched their Anti-Bully Week as part of the national campaign with a non-uniform day themed around ‘It’s Good to be Me!’ where children were invited to wear something they felt most comfortable in. Various activities took place over the course of the week across the school which included targeted PSHE lessons focusing on valuing differences and reinforcing the about being a befriender rather than a bystander. Classes made posters, paper sunglasses and other items, and in line with the ‘Make a Noise’ theme, some children wrote songs to spread the word about anti-bullying. Others sang along with the Children in Need Choir as the week came to a close on Friday 17th with Empowerment Day.

Class 3S also performed a sharing assembly to parents and carers on Tuesday 21st November - see separate blog here.
