On Thursday 30th November the Bluecoat Choir took part in a residency at Exeter Cathedral alongside the Teachers Rock Youth Choir. The children sang an individual piece 'Sing' by Gary Barlow and the Commonwealth Choir, as well as 7 other songs as part of a combined choir with schools across the South West. The children were amazing and really did themselves and our school proud.
What the children thought:
"It was good. There was lots of people!" - Oscar, Year 2
"It was kind of scary because it was in front of so many people. It was really fun because the Christmas market was outside and it was fun!" - Alexandra, Year 2
The choir rehearse on Mondays after school and have members from Year 2 through to Year 6.
