Positive Touch in Reception

This week our Reception children in Class RMM invited their parents and carers in to school to come and find out about the Positive Touch Programme that we run for our children at Bluecoat.

The Positive Touch Programme is part of the Massage In Schools Programme (MISP) which is used across the world. This is an evidence-based, child to child, internationally respected peer massage programme. Research shows that there are lasting, positive outcomes for children who are involved in the MISP regularly, impacting on their well-being and preparation for learning.

As you can see, we had an amazing turn out and all parents and children really enjoyed it and were relaxed and stress-free at the end of the session.

If you would like to find out more about the Positive Touch Programme in our school, please ask for a leaflet from Reception or see our website.
