Year 4 Meet Boodle the Dog

On Friday 19th April, children in Year 4 had a visit from Mrs Hogan’s canine friend ‘Boodle’. This came as part of their Experience Day for this half term’s English unit called ‘Feast’, a short animation about a homeless dog who was adopted off the street and was adapting to life in his new home. The aim of Boodle’s visit was to give the Year 4s a view of the world through a dog’s eyes and to try and imagine his thoughts and feelings of things such as food, walks and life around him. Boodle is an elderly, gentle but large dog and he enjoyed meeting all the children, especially all the attention and strokes (as well as the Maths lesson after break time too!)
