Year 5 Religious and World Views Learning

On Friday 21st June, Miss Turner organised a visit from Father Steve for Year 5 as part of our Religion and World Views learning. We listened to Father Steve read some passages from the Bible and discussed the lessons Christians could learn from the stories. We then took part in a “diamond nine” activity, ordering values based on our personal opinion and then how we thought a Christian might order them. Father Steve then talked to us about which values he feels are most important as a Chrstian. Finally, we thought about which values a Humanist might feel are most important and discussed the similarities and differences between these.

A big thank you to Miss Turner for organising and to Father Steve for coming in to talk to us, it really helped us to understand our RWV learning!
